I currently live in Bristol, England. I completed a Bsc degree in Psychology at the University of the West of England in 2006 and during this time I began a journey of spiritual practice, self-exploration and healing.
Discovering yoga and meditation at university with the help of a good friend was the first step in this journey. I've practiced and studied deeply in several Asian spiritual traditions over the last 18 years and continue to do so.
This journey has taken me into different Hindu and Buddhist lineages of practice and given me the good fortune and grace to study with a number of very experienced and capable teachers.
Professionally, my earlier adult life lead me to work in many different roles where I worked with adults and young people with different mental health issues and learning disabilities.
My training as a therapist began with a two year educational program of body-based regression therapy in the UK, starting in 2014, in the 'Deep Memory Process' (DMP) system.
DMP is synthetic by nature, combining elements of Moreno's Psychodrama, Reichian body work, shamanic work, eastern understandings of the subtle body and the process of transmigration, as well as guided visualisation and core psychotherapy skills.
This training gave me an understanding of the importance of emotional catharsis and the subtle 'energetic' layers of memories, habits, inclinations and wounds that we all carry within the body and mind. It also showed me the importance of including the body within the therapeutic process.
After returning from Germany to live in the UK again, I completed a three year post-graduate diploma in counselling at the Psychosynthesis Trust in London.
This was a high quality training, which involved a thorough programme of personal therapy, client work, group relational dynamic therapy, regular supervision, and academic study.

For the past ten years I've studied and practiced the art and science of Astrology in the Indian Vedic tradition of 'Jyotish', or the 'way of light'.
I've completed trainings in Ayurvedic Astrology and traditional Jyotish astrology and have immersed myself in this vast and profound system.
I can offer either one-off or ongoing Vedic birth chart analysis and interpretation, as a separate service to my counselling practice.
My background of practice in various Eastern and Western systems of personal and transpersonal development very much informs my work as a therapist and astrologer.
My understanding and experience is that our universe, and the ground in which it arises, is conscious, sacred, interconnected and inherently meaningful.
